Hey Kids- This is Rock Rock, the Worlds Most Popular Dog and I have a secret VEGETABLE PUDDING recipe. It actually tastes good- I make it so it’s not bitter, and it’s the worlds healthiest soup!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Can you help me and tell Deebles it’s great, and that I am still in love with HER!!! (Wizard John Paul does not know my famous veggie pudding recipe! In fact he thinks he makes it better than me- but we kids know better!!!). And, you MUST check with your doctor or medical professional first to make sure this is okay for you. FIRST!!! Okay, onward~
Here’s what to do….. GET MOM AND DAD TO HELP FIRST!!! This is a parent or guardian or teacher only food preparation meal! Don’t worry about how many vegetables this seems to have; when you’re done, it will be pudding! And no one will know how STRONG YOU’RE GOING TO BE!!! Color- sometimes this is more green, sometimes red, it’s never the same!!! But it’s soooooooo great!
THE VEGETABLES (Spices and mixing ingredients next) ( I double this for me!!!)
Yams or potatoes – 1-2 cups- 1 large or two medium
Beets & the Leafy Beet Greens -1 beet and the top
Avocado- 1 medium
Italian Parsley 1/2 bunch
Kale. 1/2 bunch
Mushroom- 1 large Portobello, 2 small shiitakes
Apples 1 medium
Turmeric Root 1 Tbs of fresh root
Ginger Root. 1 Tbs of fresh root
Garlic, 1 clove
Grab that adult who can safely use knives and chop up or dice all the veggies into small pieces. Steam them all in a large pot or steamer. Start with the potatoes or yams first, since they take the longest, let them steam for a few minutes, then add the ginger and turmeric and the garlic. Let that cook for a few more minutes. Add the leafy greens like Beet Greens, Parsley, and Kale near the end of the cooking time. Then finish off with the avocado and the apples. (Sometimes I will add some prunes or raisons as well). Let them steam for a few more minutes, then turn off the heat and let stand with the cover on for a 2 or 3 minute time. Remember Mom or Dad- be sure to make sure you have enough water to steam and not run out. The starchy foods use a lot of water to cook.
Now find a good blender. The Vitamix works really well because it completely liquifies everything. There are others, but if it ends up with lumps, it’s not so good! Now let’s mix this thing up!!!
I find that if I fill the blender container a little more than halfway up, say 2/3’s, making sure you get a mix of all the vegetables and potatoes, then I can add:
2 cups of fluid; I like 1 cup of Bone Broth and 1 of water, or two cups water.
Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, 2 Tablespoons
Sea Salt, 1/2-3/4 tsp.
Balsamic Vinegar, 1 Tsp
Apple Cider Vinegar, 1 Tsp
Lemon Juice, 1/2 tsp
Butter, 1 Tablespoon, Grass Fed, Free Range organic (If you’re not allergic to Milk- the Wizard is!)
Fresh ground black pepper
So blend up and pour into a large pot. Then blend the rest up. Don’t worry if each batch tastes a little different- you won’t know the full flavor until it’s all mixed together. This should make close to a gallon of soup, which sounds like a lot, but not really if everyone is eating the Worlds Healthiest Vegetable Pudding !!!
